MBA Project 01

Edinburgh International Airport
With more than 150 global destinations and 40 airline partners, EDI is the busiest airport in Scotland and 6th in the UK. In 2019, EDI hosted more than 14.7 million passengers. However, the COVID-19 pandemic had a massive impact on the tourism and aviation industries. After two years of travel restrictions and various stay-at-home mandates, travelers are ready to explore new places. This consultancy project determined new flight routes by analyzing passenger directionality. The strategic recommendations will assist EDI’s route development to increase passenger and airline preference towards Edinburgh.
